On the day of the appointment, please arrive 20 minutes early to allow time for parking and registration. We do our best to see patients at their scheduled appointment time. Please bring the following items:

To facilitate ongoing communication, we recommend patients sign up with MyChart, which allows patients to communicate directly with doctors, request prescription refills, update contact information, view test results, and request clinic appointments. Sign in or sign up for MyChart.

For a seamless patient experience, the building has a patient service center that can draw blood for all lab orders that may be ordered at the appointment.

For your first appointment, you may be scheduled for same-day testing before seeing the physician. You can expect your first visit to take about one day. When your appointment is made you will be asked to enroll in MyChart, our electronic patient portal. Please do so as this will allow us to send you the pre-visit forms electronically.

Please bring a copy of your prior evaluations with you to the appointment including any prior notes, breathing tests, allergy test results and pathology reports. Also, if you have had chest X-rays or CT scans performed at other institutions, please bring a copy of those tests on a disc with you to your first visit.

In most cases, a copy of radiologic images can be obtained from the location in which they were performed and given to you on a CD disk. The members of our team will need to view the actual radiology images as the report alone will not be sufficient.

About a week prior to your visit you will receive a call from us to review your current medications and past history and review the schedule for the day.

We are accepting new patients. During your consultation, we will review your medical history and health-care goals. We can also perform full pulmonary function testing right in our office.

Through our interactions with you and your child, we hope to provide you with a knowledge base and assessment tools to enable your child and family to live a normal life style as much as possible. Our focus is on education and customizing an action plan for both preventative care and for acute illness. The result is to minimize the impact of your child's pulmonary illness. At the conclusion of each office visit, an action plan is created and reviewed with you and your child. This includes daily (preventative or controller) medications, if needed (rescue) medications, and special medications/instructions. Peak flow meter settings are also included if appropriate for your child.

Children’s Health℠ Specialty Center Dallas Campus is located at 2350 N Stemmons Fwy (I-35E), across the street from Children’s Medical Center Dallas, the flagship hospital of Children’s Health. This six-story facility was completely redesigned and renovated to provide patients and their families with easy access to a wide array of specialty outpatient services in one convenient location.


The clinical space is organized in “neighborhoods," with similar services being clustered together to better serve the patients and their families. This design makes it easier for patients to receive care from multiple specialists and allows the specialists to collaborate together more efficiently.

The Specialty Center Dallas Campus also includes a day surgery center. It is located adjacent to the Specialty Center Dallas Campus and includes eight operating rooms where outpatient surgical services are provided.

Self-Registration Kiosks - Quickly check in for your child’s appointment with our new self-service kiosks. If you’ve completed your pre-registration phone call, you can head straight to a kiosk to scan any necessary documents, sign consent forms, pay co-pays and be on your way! It’s that easy. Self-parking is free for all guests. Upon arrival, please bring your parking ticket inside to be validated. Do not leave the ticket in your car.
