4worldlovers: Jennifer Rosa has been a massage therapist since 2007. She graduated from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy, a nationally accredited massage and highly respected massage school. She has always had a passion for helping people and massage therapy was the perfect fit.

Jennifer has been working in and around the spa industry since 1997. Not only has she been a licensed massage therapist since 2007, but she has also worked in different areas of administration, logistics, and finance. For almost 15 years, she worked at an Elite Spa and Salon in Southwest Boston. During this time, she focused her skills around aromatherapy, deep tissue massage, hot stone therapy, and body treatments. Jennifer took her first Ashiatsu training in 2012 with Deepfeet Bar Therapy, the first company to offer Ashiatsu certification in the United States. She has completed all the training classes offered by Deepfeet, including Barefoot Basics, Anterior & Side-lying, Advanced and Ashi-Thai. Jennifer has grown a strong interest in Ashiatsu and a matching book of clientele who loved the new modality.

Ashiatsu is a form of barefoot massage that allows the therapist to use deep tissue/ compression strokes to glide over the body. Ashiatsu therapists are able to deliver continuous deep pressure strokes that cover larger areas of the body. Bars are used above the table for support and balance. By receiving gentle but deep foot compression and slow Swedish strokes, you will understand why this is called the deepest, most luxurious form of massage. Lotion used for all massages are paraben-free, certified organic and unscented.
