The Immersion Board & Train is designed for owners who may need a more intensive training program or find themselves going out of town frequently. This class lasts for a full 10-20 days, where your dog would be in our complete care. During that time Professional Dallas Dog Trainers work to promote your dog’s best behavior. Teaching your dog obedience at our site that would transfer right to your home.

Our Doggie Boot Camp is designed to be a one-on-one training experience so your dog is getting the proper attention they need. It’s a full day immersion experience where you drop your pup off in the morning and pick them back up in the evening. Being a dog parent can be overwhelming. Sometimes its hard to find time in your busy schedule to get your pup the training they need. If this is the case then our Doggy Bootcamp might be a perfect fit for you and Fido.

Our Private Training program was designed to allow you to participate in the advancements your dog is making. From start to finish you will be involved in all the interactions that take place in developing your dog’s new skill set. This hands-on experience will help you learn personally from an experienced trainer on how to effectively teach your furry-friend obedience, socialization, and confidence.

Puppy Training is for the first 20 weeks of your dog’s life and is the most important when it comes to training. By teaching them the proper way to behave early on it can prevent issues in the future. Obedience learned at the beginning of their life will help your puppy get off on the right foot and avoid an aggressive dog later on.

Growing up, I do not have a single memory of life without dogs. We have always been a dog family. My first ever dog was a black lab,Eli. I was naturally drawn to the “why” whenever Eli did something, or he learned something. Throughout his early years, training with him was my favorite pastime. Starting out as a client at Sit Means Sit, I was intrigued how every command learned was a process, in order to achieve maximum success. From there the chance to become involved in this company seemed like a natural fit for me!

Originally from Rhode Island, I’ve been with Sit Means Sit Dallas since our family relocated to Texas. Grew up loving animals and worked as a Vet Tech which enabled me to learn a lot of skills that help with training.

I’ve always loved animals. Ever since I was a child I had wanted to be a vet, unfortunately, as a child I was never allowed to have a dog. I was so happy when I was finally able to have my own dog, Samantha a Terrier Mix.

`` I cannot say enough good things. We have an english bulldog who has never gotten along with other dogs. We wanted to foster given that Dallas shelters are putting down dogs but as soon as we got a foster he could be in the same room as our bully. We thought we would have to find him a new foster which was heartbreaking because he is such a sweet and friendly dog. This was our last hope, and boy did it work. `` Preston is a dog behaviorist. We had our kids Maltese mix staying with us for 8 weeks. He would bark and jump and aggressively chew toys and destroy them. `` It is difficult to put into words the success we have had with Preston regarding our three dogs. I cannot even begin to tell you the copious amount of money spent in the past on training, collars, leashes, etc. It’s almost embarrassing. We found Preston on Nextdoor a year ago, but did not look him up until a few months ago. We had one of our rescues bite someone while leaving doggy day camp and another exhibit dog agression. And because, we love our dogs dearly we looked Preston up. I thought what can it hurt to try one more trainer? We just want our dogs to be the best they can be. Before, we were taking all three to doggy day care 3-5 days a week to run off energy and now they only go to be boarded when we are out of town! We walk all three of them with loose leashes twice a day, past other dogs, cats, squirrels...and their ears are back, mouths open and totally relaxed. They are so much more tired and fulfilled than they ever were going to day care. Thank you Preston for your intuition and understanding of our dogs and letting us know that all dogs are not equal and each need to be addressed individually. If you need proof?
